"That time when Loki stalked Jane in NY and they accidentally became bros"

I'll get a title eventually.

So Loki (as Lucy) wanders around New York with Darcy and Jane and Natasha for a few hours. Backstory questions happen, and Lucy tells them she's from a wealth and powerful family in Norway. She came to the US to get away after discovering she's the adopted child of a long-time enemy of theirs.

There's a bitter comment about not being able to inherit the "family business," (because of not being aesir) but the other get the impression that it's because she's a girl. They sympathize about being overlooked and underappreciated as women. Lucy is shocked to hear about the shit women still go through today.

So possibly some of the Avengers are going to meet up with the girls for a late lunch/early dinner? Like, Jane and Darcy like Lucy enough to have her join them.... Makes more sense if the boys surprise them, not expecting Lucy. And then Thor recognizes Loki's female form, which alerts the others-- Loki magics them all motionless while he thanks Jane and Darcy and Natasha for a pleasant day and apologizes to Jane for thinking ill of her earlier. Loki then fades away, as do the restraints on the others.

Thor is beside himself with happiness that his Loki's alive. Tony, ice pack pressed to his cheek from where Loki slammed him into the ground, says that he thought Thor had a brother, not a sister. Thor asserts that Loki takes whatever form suits him.

They don't see of her anything from Loki, but there is a sudden surge of accidents and unfortunate events that befall a bunch of famous sexist bastards.

("What if someone dies?" Mara Hill rants"

"Loki would consider death to be a very uncreative punishment," Thor protests.)

Later, Jane is in a coffee shop with either fury or Maria Hill. Anyway, the shield boss is saying how dangerous loki is because they don't fully understand what he's capable of, but Thor won't talk much about it so could Jane please get some info from him? Meanwhile, Jane tries not to choke and die when the barista who hands them their coffee is actually Loki (as a boy) and winks at her. Fury/Maria Hill is oblivious and leaves eventually.

Jane sits nervously at one of the outdoor tables. Loki joins her, tossing a women's rights book on the table as he sits down. he remarks that he doesn't know which is the worst-- the american system or the asgardian. In Asgard, the roles of men and women are very defined, but a woman could live as a man and do that work and be accepted, and vice versa (even Odin wore skirts when he was learned women's magic// incidently Loki learned the same is when he first took on female form). Loki was never accepted because he learned womens ways (seid) but wouldn't live as a woman...
